Rice ball Emboridery Cloth with NAGORI Gift set (3-Pieces)
£6.00
This Emboridery cloth is made in ‘Kayagofukin’, a cloth made of mosquito net fabric carefully woven in Nara Prefecture, the only remaining mosquito net production area in Japan, while they are embroidered and printed in Wakayama Prefecture.
The origin of this cloth is believed to be created by Japanese female workers who worked at a mosquito net factory. They began to sew several pieces together and make them for their own use, out of wasteful waste of defective fabrics and leftover fabrics from cutting.
At first, the fabric is hard due to glue, but when the glue is removed with lukewarm water or hot water, the fabric shrinks and texture become soft. Please follow the instruction before first use.
The fabric has an excellent water absorbency (1.3 times of cotton), which dries quickly and durable.
